Green Rewards is an exciting new programme for all staff and students at NTU which rewards you for behaviours that improve individual health and wellbeing or improve university-wide sustainability.

You'll compete as part of a team or school to earn 'Green Points' for your actions. There are a whole range of actions that you can earn points for under a number of different themes:

  • My Carbon Footprint
  • My Resources
  • My Travel
  • My Food and Drink
  • My Community
  • My Health and Wellbeing
  • My ideas

Each activity has a full description of what you'll need to do to earn points - some require a submission that you can make through the website, whilst others invite you to report on weekly basis.

This year we want to give you additional recognition! If you have earned either one or all of the below point thresholds by the end of the academic year 2023 then you could win a prize! We will be awarding the prizes at three levels:

  1. Gold Certification for reaching 100,000 Green Points and a £15 EcoVibe voucher

  2. Silver Certification for reaching 75,000 Green Points and a £10 EcoVibe voucher

  3. Bronze Certification for reaching 60,000 Green Points and a £5 EcoVibe voucher

Along with this, we are giving away sustainable goodies to those who have reported on actions for 100 weeks in a row. The prize for a 100 week streak will be a £10 EcoVibe voucher.
