Are You Ready to Be Rewarded?

Green Rewards is an exciting new programme for all staff and students at NTU which rewards you for behaviours that improve individual health and wellbeing or improve university-wide sustainability.

You'll compete as part of a team or school to earn 'Green Points' for your actions. There are a whole range of actions that you can earn points for under a number of different themes:

  • My Carbon Footprint
  • My Resources
  • My Travel
  • My Food and Drink
  • My Community
  • My Health and Wellbeing
  • My ideas

Each activity has a full description of what you'll need to do to earn points - some require a submission that you can make through the website, whilst others invite you to report on weekly basis.

1. Get the app

As well as the interactive web platform, there's also a free app for iOS and Android! You can download the free NTU app for iOS and Android to help you earn rewards on the go.

2. What can you win?

Keep track of your positive actions and watch how your Green Points add up to winning rewards. Each month there are two £20 vouchers (one staff and one student) up for grabs for the top points earners.

For every 10-weekly reporting streak you will be given a voucher for a free hot beverage at the campus canteen!

3. Check the leader board

Whilst your own total continues to add up, the leader board will be refreshed at the start of each month and our top earners can only win once every three months – this means that everyone is in it to win!

4. Take part in activities

You can take part in a whole range of activities to earn Green Points for yourself and your team. We've grouped these activities into themes, all of which you can get involved in at any time.

Click here to check out each of the activities - for some you'll need to submit some information or a photo whilst for others you'll be sent a weekly reminder to let us know what you've done.

5. Encourage your colleagues and fellow students to get involved

You can encourage your colleagues to get involved (and earn Green Points for yourself) by heading to our - all you need is your colleague's or fellow student's email address to send them an invite.
